Church of Sant Maria Maggiore The interior of Santa Maria Maggiore (15th-17th centuries) is outstanding for the elegance of both the wall decorations and the marble high altar by Paolino Zuliani. Remarkable is the stucco-framed altarpiece with Virgin, Holy Father and model of the church district by Giuseppe Cosattini (17th cent).
