Fertility of land and plenty of
water have favoured settlements
here since protohistory;
substantial evidence, as the
rustic villa of Casali
Pedrina (1st century BC - 5th century
AD), is referred to Roman times,
linked to agricultural and brick
production. Agriculture was the main

activity even in later ages, as witnessed
by the noble residences built here
between the 1600s and the 1800s

Villa Savorgnan, Milocco at

Driolassa), around which the typical
rural villages developed with their
churches. Among the latter, the
octagonal-plan parish church

Teor has precious fittings, the
parish church of
Campomolle contains

and the organ built by well-known
Francesco Dacci are preserved.
A curious popular tradition has
it that the place name Driolassa
is linked to Attila who left the
village behind,
namely "indrio", without
burning it.

of the present-day
Strada
Napoleonica),
namely below the line of
resurgences from which
rivers or streams or
simply natural springs
often originate,
