The existence
of a
protohistorical
settlement in
the area is
proven by remains
datable to the beginning
of the 2nd millennium BC.
Further documents on the
place are referred to more
recent events. The Parish
Church is built in the
typical late-18th-century
architecture, with a
classical pediment front,
divided by pilasters and a
tall bell tower with fleche.
Inside, three 18th-century
altars can be seen, the
work of Gorizia artisans.
