may be appreciated
of rural
architecture (at Prehod a

Friulian
Slavia) and of elegant votive
small churches, as the
churches of S. Andrea
Apostolo and of S. Lucia at
Cravero: the former,
picturesque in its
architecture, has a wooden
altar (1670-1695) by Lukas
Scharf, rich in statues,
carvings and decorations and
extending horizontally so as
to fill the whole presbytery;
the latter, has an as much
sumptuous wooden altar by
the same artist (1700-1710)
and a vivid cycle of frescoes
(1536) with scenes form
Christ's Passion by
Bartolomeo da Skofja Loka.
In the parish church of
S. Leonardo two paintings
attributable to Innocenzo
Brugno (Lazarus's
Resurrection and St. Lucia)
are worth a visit.
