Even though most of the municipality artistic and architectural wealth was lost in the earthquake of 1976, its environmental assets have remained untouched, often offering moving views, as, for example, the Fontanone Barman, reached from Leschiazze following the
Panorama of Resia road to Sella Carnizza. At Stolvizza, a Museum of knife sharpening was opened in 1999 dedicated to a craft which was much practised among Resia's inhabitants but has now almost disappeared. In the same neighbourhood, Casa Lettig offers a remarkable example of 18thcentury architecture. At Poje of S. Giorgio di Resia a small ethnographic museum shows aspects of everyday life in the past. In the Pieve di S. Maria Assunta di Prato, a wooden statue of Virgin with Child by Giacomo Martini is kept, the last remaining piece of a larger carved altar of 1535.
