Lake-dwellings dating probably to 9000 years before the Christian era were found in the Grandens basin near Qualso, and Roman coins were found at Vergnacco: this means that the territory has always been inhabited, also thanks to the fact that it was crossed by Via Bariglaria connecting Aquileia to Tricesimo and Kärnten, and by the various ditches derived from Torrent Torre during the Patriarchal Age. Church of Ss Felice e Fortunato - view of the 1481 frescoes SS. Felice and Fortunato Reana, as the date 1341 and the name of its builder (master mason Nicolò) are walled on the façade and inside the church is a cycle of frescoes dated 1481 in the old choir. In the parish church of S. Maria Assunta at Qualso (outside the church an inscription of 1511 commemorates the earthquake destroying the building in that year), frescoes by G.P. Thanner (16th cent.) and Carlo Boldi (ca. 1800) and an altarpiece by G.B. Tosolini (end of 18th cent.) are remarkable.
