The villages and hamlets in the
municipality of Ravascletto, located
in a lovely position along the road
crossing Valcalda, have existed since
the 13th century and are characterized
by the presence of some Carnic houses, as, for
example, Casa da Colauda (16th cent.) and
the 18th-century Casa Baldisar, Casa in Luc,
Casa de Stalis. As for religious buildings, the

18th-century
parish church
of S. Matteo
Apostolo
contains two
large paintings (Last Supper and Descent of the
Holy Spirit) and a triptych on wood (Virgin with
Child and Saints, end of 16th century), apart
from G. Moro's frescoes (20th cent.). In the
church of Zovello are found wooden statues and
small paintings on wood (17th cent.) making up
the last remains of a wooden altar by G.A.
Agostini. From Ravascletto a cableway takes
visitors to Mount Zoncolan, a well-equipped
ski resort, and pleasant excursions may be made
also to the lakes of Tarond and Crasulina.
