The small town of Cercivento
still retains the 17th- and 18thcentury
urban plan, with its typical
buildings with loggias and crossvault
entrance halls, the most
charming of which is certainly Casa
Morassi, with its elegant arches on two
floors. The parish church of S. Martino
has a lovely high altar dating to 1749 by
Sebastiano Pischiutti from Gemona with two

is the Virgin
of the Belt
painting. At
Cercivento di sotto
the Farie dal Checo, an ancient smithy

(with water-powered machinery), has been
recently made into a Museum.
