The building of
the Neoclassical
parish church of
Arba was carried
out between 1836
and 1861; it was then
frescoed with a Fall of
the Rebel Angels by
P. Sopracasa in 1921 and

coming from the old
parish church, among
which a 16th-century

especially the high altar,
showing a bas-relief with
Angel adoring the
Eucharist and the statues
of Archangels Raphael
and Michael, executed

1987 on a design by
E. Polesel from Sacile.
Inside is a 17th-century
carved ambo survived to
the demolition of the older
building after the 1976
earthquake.

the local
Mosaic School has
worked for decades at
the highest levels, also
obtaining important
international orders. But
Spilimbergo is...go
